A client since 2017
My name is Heather. I’ve been a client of Polaris for approximately seven years, and my adviser is Greg Cooke.
We got in touch with Polaris – originally, it was myself and my husband – because my husband was about to retire, and we needed some pension advice.
We heard about Polaris, and Greg in particular, through our son, who worked with him through his company, and he came highly recommended.
We both chose to go with Polaris because Greg came across as a very confident and knowledgeable adviser, and we felt we could trust him.
Recently, my husband passed away within the last 18 months and Polaris has been absolutely wonderful because they’ve known our previous background and my financial situation, so they’ve been able to help me through this journey.
Working with Polaris has been and continues to be a very easy process, and to a certain extent, an enjoyable process because I find them very personable. I’m not just someone who is on their mind for two minutes, and then they disappear. They’re there all the time to help me. So, I find it very good.
I feel my financial future with Polaris is looking very good, thankfully. I get lots of feedback and lots of advice and information, and I’m given choices to make as to how I would like to go forward, and I feel quite confident with that.
The three words I would use to describe Polaris are personable, professional, and honest.
The best thing about working with Polaris is that I know I can depend on the information that I’m given, and that’s quite often with options; it’s not just “This is what you should be doing.” It’s “These are the options; which one would you like to go with?”
I would definitely recommend Polaris to other people because of the experience that my husband and I have had with them. In fact, I have recommended them to my daughter, and she has been quite happy with them as well. We gained a very personal side to our experience with Polaris through Greg. He takes an interest in us as people and as a family, and as I think I’ve probably said before, you’re not just a name on a piece of paper; you’re a client, and to a certain extent, you feel as if you’re also a friend.
